With an early career in direct marketing for the Financial Times, motherhood led me to a change in career and one I have been passionate about since being a child. My inspiration and love of interior styling can certainly be credited to my father, who changed the colour palette in our family home on what seemed like a daily basis. Finding myself doing exactly the same and spurred on by my patient husband, I decided it was time to style and decorate other people's homes, and so Sacha Cole Interiors was borne....
I graduated from Inchbald Design School with a certificate in Interior Design & Decoration. Since then I have been involved in a variety of wonderful projects including decorating and furnishing a contemporary villa on the Spanish east coast near Barcelona, adding a contemporary twist to a traditional 18th Century tithe barn in the Hertfordshire countryside, refurbishing and extending a Georgian family home, working with architects and builders to refurbish and extended a light filled kitchen and living space in the heart Redbourn, and advising on paint colours and feature wallpapers in Rickmansworth.
Creating individual spaces for my clients reflecting their live, work and play ethic, whilst carefully balancing practicalities with beautiful aesthetics, is the most rewarding part of my job. I love nothing more than mixing the traditional with the modern, adding a rustic piece, being quirky, being colourful, adding texture, but overall designing a space that my clients can call their home.
